Susan Grissom is an attorney at law, licensed to practice in the courts of the State of Georgia. She received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from Georgia State University College of Law and her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of South Carolina, in Aiken, South Carolina, US.

In addition, Susan served as the Chairperson of the Board of Emory Johns Creek Hospital, the Past Chair of the Board of Johns Creek Advantage (the economic development effort in Johns Creek), is the former President of the Board of Johns Creek Arts Center, is a former Rotarian and a graduate of Leadership Johns Creek.
